SVAN - Aeropuerto de Anaco para X-Plane11

SVAN – Anaco Airport

X-PLANE 11

Anaco National Airport (IATA: AAO, ICAO: SVAN), is located in the city of Anaco, in the central region of the state of Anzoátegui. It is a low-capacity airport mostly used by oil industry employees en route to the oil and gas complexes in the eastern part of the country. The airport has a single runway 1260 meters long and 40 meters wide.

There is currently a project to build a new airport on the outskirts of the city of Anaco, thus closing the current airport. This is due to its location in the center of the city, which prevents the construction of tall buildings, making it difficult for aircraft to land and endangering the inhabitants of the sector. Another factor is that its runway is only 1260 m long, which prevents the arrival of large aircraft. Currently, no commercial airlines fly to this destination.
