Airport is the fifth most important airport in Venezuela and is located in the
city of Barcelona, Anzoátegui State. It is the headquarters of the airline
Avior Airlines, which due to its great growth has become one of the busiest
airports in international connections in the country after Maiquetía.
This airport has the International category. It has a 4,964 square meter structure (currently under expansion), with cafeterias, restaurants, a cyber-café, large waiting rooms, video screens, permanent art gallery, restrooms, security and information system, car rental companies and luxury cab service. There is also a commercial area where users can purchase gifts, souvenirs and national handicrafts.
