SVCO – Carora Airport
X-Plane11
The Carora airport has a runway 1,500 meters long and ten centimeters thick, its first layer being five centimeters of cement and five of asphalt, suitable for the landing and take-off of Cessna type planes with capacity for 200 passengers and others of greater capacities, such as the so-called Hercules, a large military plane of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces that landed in 1989 during the remembered "Caracazo" with supplies to contain the protests that were generated in those days.
The state of Lara has only two airports, the one in Barquisimeto and the one in Carora, so with this reopening the capital would take a position of national and international relevance.
