SVGU – “Virgen de Coromoto” National Airport

The Virgen de Coromoto National Airport (IATA: GUQ, ICAO: SVGU) serves the city of Guanare, capital of the state of Portuguesa, in western Venezuela, and maintains private flights.
Currently this airport is not in operation for commercial aviation, the last airlines to operate there were LAI and Avior, according to airport workers they are now going to start remodeling to resume its operation. According to them, the control tower equipment was recently modernized.
