José Leonardo Chirino Airport (IATA: CZE, ICAO: SVCR) is located in the city of Coro, Venezuela; it is the second most important airport in Falcón state, in western Venezuela.
The airport has lost its international status due to the state of abandonment in which it was located. The government of the state of Falcón has committed to solve the airport's problems and to help open new routes in the medium term.
Destinations to Punto Fijo, Maracaibo and Valera will begin soon after the reactivation of the air terminal. More flights to other places in Venezuela are expected, as well as the recovery of the international category.
