The National Airport "Francisco García de Hevia" of La Fría (IATA: LFR, ICAO: SVLF), is located about 45 kilometers north of the town of San Cristóbal (Venezuela).
It is expected to become the gateway to San Cristóbal since after the completion of the San Cristóbal-La Fría Highway the trip between the two cities would take about 30 minutes.
It has two airlines, Laser and CONVIASA. For the general rehabilitation of this airport, approximately 62 million bolivars were invested. The works include the remodeling of the aircraft parking apron and the installation of air conditioning in the terminal areas.
